Historical Weekend 2017 in Pilsen – program-package for 2 days and 2 nights for the whole family
Travel with your kids back in time into the period of knights’ fights. The celebration transforms the city centre into the historic market place. You can enjoy theatre and music performances, traditional fair full of jugglers, magicians and traditional crafts. For the Saturday evening a parade of ghosts will be arranged.
Also, an attractive international folklore festival will take place in Pilsen on the same weekend. During this event, Czech folklore groups and guests from various foreign countries will sing, play musical instruments and dance in the city centre.
On Saturday morning, you will enjoy the best of Pilsen during a guided tour of the city centre. You will walk through the most interesting places in the city and learn about its history and stories. You will visit the Cathedral of St. Bartholomew‘s tower and the Pilsen Historical Underground. After lunch, you will enjoy the program in a city centre – fencing performances, horses riding tournaments, parades, period music and a marketplace, and much more. The main character will be Golem this year and there will be also Rudolf II and his alchemists.
On Sunday, you can visit the Puppet Museum and one of these tourist targets: ZOO Pilsen, Dinopark or Techmania Science Centre.

- Accommodation with breakfast in a three-star hotel in the city centre for 2 nights in a triple or quadruple room for family (2 adults + 1-2 children up to 15 years) in the period from 9th to 11th June 2017. Every room is equipped with a shower/bath and toilet. Check out is on Sunday till 10 am.
- Guide service for the whole group – non-private tour.
- Experienced tour of the city centre including the Cathedral of St. Bartholomew’s tower and the Pilsen Historical Underground with a guide on Saturday 10th June. The entrance fee is included.
